FINANCIAL AID

Students admitted into the program receive financial support in the form of nationally competitive stipends and waiver of tuition and fees.  This includes full health insurance benefits. Support is provided as stipends from the graduate school or as awards from an NIH training grant in Integrative Membrane Biology.  Support from the training grant is awarded competitively, based on undergraduate records, GRE or MCAT scores and letters of recommendation. Stipend levels for trainees are currently $23,000/yr, for first and second year students, and $24,000 for students in their third year and beyond.
